December 1987 to February 1988 and December 1988 to February 1989 : Macsupport Services - computer programmer (design and implementation of large applications in a small company and other tasks, like setting up a LAN, where necessary. I wrote the commercial program ``TaskMaster'' totally)
After February 1989 : occasional contract and associated work with Macsupport Services (porting ``TaskMaster'' to Unix, and work on a new application).
Second Semester 1989 : Casual tutor for the Mathematics Department at Melbourne University (being available at set times to answer questions).
1990 : Part time tutor for the Mathematics Department at Melbourne University (first and second semester) and casual tutor for the Department of Computer Science (first semester). This involved standing in front of a formal class of ten to twenty students and marking assignments.
December 1990 to February 1991 : Working at the Mathematics Department under Professor Tony Guttmann and Dr Richard Brak writing computer programs for algebraic approximants in Statistical Mechanics.
January 1990 to February 1991 : Working in the Institute of Education at the University of Melbourne, lecturing, tutoring and assessing a bridging course in first year Mathematics for Engineering students. NB. This took a month, during which time I was working only part time in the Maths Department.
1991 first semester : Casual tutor for Computer Science taking first year tutorials.
1991 second semester : Third year Computer Science and first year mathematics tutorials for Melbourne University, and second year physics tutorials for Queen's College.
January 1992 : Lecturing and tutoring first year mathematics bridging course.
